The design method of offshore wind turbines is different from that of onshore wind turbines because of their more severe condition in complex environments. This chapter will introduce the integrated design, reliability design, typhoon-proof design, corrosion-proof design and lightning-proof design of offshore wind turbines.

摘要

The wind turbine design is the basis of reliable and economical operation.
