Mr. C is a 32-year-old Chinese male who presented with a left thigh mass that was present for 6-months duration. Work up revealed multiple small opacities in the lung that were suspicious for lung metastases, with the largest lung nodule being 9 mm. There was no brain metastasis. He underwent excision biopsy of the left thigh mass which measured 8 cm. The tumour displayed organoid nests of round to polygonal cells separated by fine fibrovascular septa. Nuclear positivity to TFE3 was seen. The margins were negative. FISH was positive for TFE3 gene rearrangement.
