Flood hydrograph estimation is the main analysis in river construction design. The Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (SUH) method is an alternative for designing flood hydrographs when hydrological time series data is not available. In fact, the SUH method does not always provide precise results. In this research, direct runoff hydrograph analysis using the Nakayasu and ITB-2 methods was applied to the upper basin of the Progo River. Daily rainfall on 20–26 January 2012. Hydrographs observed from the Borobudur AWLR station were applied for model calibration. Modifications to the equation are carried out to obtain appropriate parameters. The research results show that the modified ITB-2 method is more suitable for use in the upper basin of the Progo River.

摘要
