Batujai Irrigation Area is located in Praya, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Several spots in the irrigation Area nearly experienced crop failures due to prolonged drought in June 2023. This research aimed to optimize the irrigation water allocation in Batujai Irrigation Area using the deterministic dynamic program, so that the optimum cropping intensity could be obtained. The program was conducted using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The dynamic program was executed by dividing the problems into smaller subproblems. Each subproblem would be solved in several stages, representing the distribution control structures in the entire irrigation area. The results of the analysis show that the optimum cropping intensity obtained from the optimization is 283.88%, which is higher than the initial cropping intensity, which is 274.62%. This comes along with the decreasing percentage of the irrigation area possessing insufficient water allocation, from 25.38% to 16.67%.
