Utilization of Sugar Cane Molasses and Fly Ash as Additives on the Compressive Strength of Concrete

The use of cane waste as a concrete additive is believed to reduce waste pollution that damages the environment and produce concrete that is efficient as well as environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and lightweight. The fly ash of a pozzolan nature is considered well as an additional process of concrete production. The study aimed to determine the strength of the mineral compressive by adding some molasses of 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, and 10% flying ashes that are 28 days old. The trial used a cylinder object with a height of 300 mm and a diameter of 150 mm. The maximum compressive strength occurred on concrete the proportion that has a drop in clay 0.05% + Fly ash 10% of a 26.42 Mpa. In conclusion, the addition of the cement drops with a proportion of 0.75%, as well as the ash flying 10% against the added concrete, produces a decreasing compressive strength, the level of sugar drops added to a concrete mixture increases also the slump value, so concrete mixtures become more decaying, causing strong compressive strength of concrete to decrease.
