摘要
Internet-based digital technology has developed rapidly in Indonesia, including in the labor market. New employment relationships such as partnerships “Mitra” on online transportation and freelancers are increasing along with the use of the internet in the labor market. Research on employment in digital-internet-based is important so that policies can be taken following field conditions. This paper will discuss the feature of digital-internet-based workers across generations. The data used for the analysis is the 2021 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Analysis was done through descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis show that Generation X workers are the biggest workers in Indonesia in 2021. Generation Z is a generation that is highly educated, mostly uses the internet for work, and is increasingly leaving the agricultural sector. On the other hand, the education level of female workers is increasing and even higher than that of male workers.
