The diveXplore system has been participating in the VBS and IVR4B competitions for the last few years and achieved decent performance. However, due to our experience with novices at VBS2024 and IVR4B2024, we realize that the system can be significantly improved in terms of usability, which is our main focus this year. Therefore, we integrate a direct video scrubbing feature (via mouse movement in the keyframe area), provide better context-visualization of keyframes, implement collaboration features for cooperative use in a team, allow textual search inside a single video, and conduct a qualitative evaluation of text query performance with CLIP, which gives insights into dos and dont’s.
