Green electricity (Green-e) is popular because of its zero-carbon emission feature. However, the demands of Green-e come from a variety of sources, and there are different types of Green-e and tradeable green certificate (TGC) products in the market, resulting in the mismatch between supply and demand. Therefore, based on the analysis and potential application scenarios of Green-e and TGC products, this paper analyzes the different demand sources, product supply status and development pathway, and matches the supply and demand of Green-e and TGC products according to the enterprise type, product features and demand types, and identifies the supply and demand matching problem according to the matching status. Finally, suggestions are provided to improve the supply and demand matching of Green-e and TGC products.
