As the computing core, FPGA has the advantages of high speed and high efficiency, and adopts distributed architecture, which can significantly improve the flexibility and scalability of the simulation system. This paper takes urban rail 35 kV traction step-down substation as an example, establishes the digital model of each component of the substation, designs the distributed communication architecture, and builds a hardware experiment platform based on FPGA for real-time simulation, verifying the effectiveness of the distributed real-time simulation architecture.
