Manufacturing Method of Structures with Negative Poisson’s Ratio
摘要
More than 160 years ago, the possibility of negative Poisson’s ratio materials was already proposed by the classical elasticity theory. Early research has found that certain natural materials exhibit negative Poisson’s ratio characteristics, including molecular materials with special structures and biological materials with fibrous or porous microstructures, such as pyrite crystals, cubic metal elements, porous cancellous bone, and cat skin. With the continuous advancement of research on negative Poisson’s ratio materials, most of them are currently artificially designed and manufactured.
