Prevotella is widely present in the human mouth and intestines, helping to break down protein and carbohydrate foods and improve the utilization of these nutrients. There are significant differences between Prevotella’s coding genes and non-coding genes in many aspects. These differences are mainly reflected in gene functions, transcripts, and their roles in organisms. In this work, we focused on the classification of coding and non-coding genes in the species of Prevotella. We employed three sequential features, including Kmer, NAC, and NCP. Meanwhile, we employed several SOTA classification models to deal with the three above-mentioned features in this classification issue.
