Analysis of the Take-Off Characteristics and Motion Rules of Metal Particles Under Direct Current Stress
摘要
To observe the dynamic process of different types of metal particles and extract motion parameters, this paper establishes an observation platform of GIS equipment metal particle dynamics to characterize the movement of three types of metal particles: powdery, block, and needle-like. The results show that powdery metal particles begin to move at a field strength of 0.558 kV/mm; spherical and block metal particles of the same size have similar takeoff voltages, but there is a significant difference in horizontal and vertical velocity components; needle-like metal particles exhibit more ground electrode firefly movement under positive voltage and more high-voltage electrode firefly movement under negative voltage. The conclusions of this paper can provide references for the force analysis of metal particles inside GIS cavities and comprehensive suppression.
