A Three-Port DC Converter for Medium Voltage Renewable Energy Applications
摘要
This paper proposes a three-port five-channel DC converter topology for medium voltage renewable energy, which includes four half-bridge resonant converter channels and one dual active full bridge channel (DAB). The converter uses the LLC channel to work at the resonance point to achieve efficient transmission of the main power, while the DAB channel is responsible for adjusting the output voltage of the energy storage port, achieving a wide gain range of charge and discharge operation of the energy storage system. At the same time, the resonant channel and DAB channel can mutually enhance their zero voltage switching (ZVS) capabilities, on the one hand reducing the converter switch loss, and on the other hand improving the efficiency of the converter's high-frequency operation. This paper first analyzes the working principle of the three-port converter. Secondly, it analyzes the power transmission characteristics and soft switching characteristics of the converter. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified by simulation.
