Simulation and Analysis of the Influence of VSG Parameters on Its Transition Process and CCT
摘要
This paper focuses on the gird forming (GFM) converter with the virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control mode, based on transient simulation results, mainly on the influence of the inertia and damping of VSG on its transition characteristics, including the dynamic transition process of frequency, power angle, and voltage under the stable conditions, and the critical clearing time for the transient stability. The state equations are solved directly for the simulation. The variation of power reference value is considered during the simulation of the short-circuit faults for analyzing the transient stability. This variation reflects the damping effect, and also reflects the inertia effect. The analysis results have certain reference value for reasonably setting the control parameters of VSG to reduce its dynamic oscillation process and improve its transient stability.
