Based on 5G short slice and 4G short multiplexing for power system wireless private network initiated by State Grid Hubei Electric Power Company, aiming at the feature and requirement of new electric power system service, the deployment scheme of 5G core network for this private network is analyzed. According to research and evaluation of network deployment principle, overall network architecture, multiple ISP interface, and service partition configuration etc., the optimized private core network deployment scheme of electric power private network is proposed innovatively, which suggests deployment in province level, backup and disaster recovery for different ISPs respectively, and separate production control service from other service partition. It is of great guiding significance for other industries in China to construct wide-area provincial industry wireless private network scientifically and reasonably based on this technology.
