The application of radiant cooling film in outdoor electrical equipment under different climatic conditions is of great significance. Radiant cooling technology is usually used in high-temperature environments to ensure the normal working environment of the equipment. However, there are fewer studies on the performance of radiant cooling membranes under different climatic conditions and different coverings, so in this paper, the performance effects of radiant cooling membranes under different climatic conditions and coverings were experimented by two customized chambers, covered with cooling membranes and uncovered with cooling membranes, using the control variable method. The results showed that the best performance was achieved on sunny days with a cooling effect of 18 ℃, while rainy and dusty days also showed a cooling effect of 2–3 ℃. The results also showed that the performance of the film on windy days was better than on windy days. The performance of the film improved on windy days, with a cooling effect of 2–3 ℃. In windy weather, the performance of the film improved compared to no wind conditions, while in dusty weather or high humidity, the performance of the film was reduced by almost half.
