In a post-Brexit world, adjustment and compromise is witnessed at many levels and the implications are still seeping into the cracks and fissures. When Braj Kachru postulated his model of World English, he could not have predicted the speed of transformation that created World Englishes. The postcolonial rant of linguistic imperialism is moving towards placation with the large-scale erasure of the Native Speaker versus the Non-Native Speaker noisy confrontation.
