Enhancing Web Page Reading Environment by Using Visual Cues to Reduce Extraneous Cognitive Load
摘要
Optimizing the reading experience of a web page is a complex task, often hindered by extraneous cognitive load caused by distractions. However, this challenge can be overcome by utilizing visual cues. By implementing such techniques, the reading environment can be enhanced, allowing users to navigate through the page with ease and focus on the content without any disruption. To improve the web page reading experience with visual cues and an effective cognitive map, a conceptual framework is proposed. An experiment will be conducted to measure the efficacy of the induced visual cues. This research aims to make a contribution to the field of web design by designing a framework for implementing visual cues in web pages, ultimately enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
