Brazilian agribusiness has taken on a leading global role, facing significant challenges in food supply. Rural credit is an essential agricultural policy tool that has a positive and direct impact on the growth and development of this sector. To aid in decision-making regarding access to rural credit, multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) was utilized, aiming to provide a useful analytical tool for the sector. This work aims to develop a framework for evaluating rural credit offered by financial agents. To this end, a case study was conducted analyzing five financial agents in the state of Rondônia from the perspective of three criteria. The AHP-Gaussian multi-criteria method was used to calculate the criteria weights and rank the alternatives. It was observed that the ranking generated by the AHP-Gaussian method was consistent with the empirical perception of the technical assistant from RURALPLAN, a company specializing in rural planning and advisory services. Notably, among the criteria analyzed, the interest rate value was less relevant than the agility and speed of the rural credit access process.

摘要
