A Study on Procrastination Through Sentiment Analysis of Social Media Data Using NLP Techniques
摘要
This research investigates the link between procrastination, stress, negative emotions, and insomnia, while also exploring whether procrastinated tasks are always work-related. It uses social data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and sentiment analysis on social media data to study these correlations, which haven’t been examined in this context before. By analyzing procrastination-related posts, the study explores sentiments, the use of emoticons, and the connection between procrastination and insomnia through tweet timestamps. It also provides insights into the procrastination of leisure tasks and how emoticons, often seen as noisy data, can reveal emotions.
