Responses from 376 mobile health app users in India were collected using electronic and physical questionnaires. The proposed research model was tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). The empirical evidence confirms the negative influence of perceived risks and the positive influence of perceived benefits on the intention to use Mobile Health Apps. Moreover, personal information discloser intention was found to moderate the relationship between perceived risks and benefits and intention to use mobile health apps. This study highlights various key strategies for promoting acceptance and usage of mobile health apps.
