Rising number of start-ups plays a vital role in the socio-economic prosperity of our country. India being a developing country facing high level of unemployment is a major drawback which should be rectified. The study focuses on the youth’s perception towards the start-up scheme. With the help of various variables, statistical analysis was conducted to reach a conclusion. Out of which willingness to take up risk, investment pattern and the nature of business preferred in start-ups were emphasised. Present generations are willing to come forward with new ideas, concepts and innovation, not only on the basis of monetary benefits, but also for social as well as the economic benefits. If our society turns out to be entrepreneur friendly then our youngsters will urge to come forward with more innovative ideas and ventures.
