This study examines Green Recruitment and Selection (GRS) literature through bibliometric analysis to foster further research. Data from 168 articles between the years 2014 and 2023 were extracted from Scopus database using “Green Recruitment and Green Selection.” Majority of GRS research is global, with leading contributions from developing nations including Malaysia, China, Pakistan, and India. China, Pakistan, Malaysia, and the UK show potential for cross-national investigations. Research output surged in 2020–2021, indicating increasing understanding of sustainability, HRM, and related areas. GRS remains an emerging concept, with this review offering insights and suggestions for future research across industries. Scholars are exploring how GHRM, specifically GRS, can advance environmentally friendly practices. This study pioneers the literature review and bibliometric analysis of GRS, despite existing research in GHRM.
