Online learning, often referred to as distance education, involves delivering educational content and support to students who are physically separated from their instructors. It presents numerous advantages, such as cost efficiency, convenience, the ability to balance work and educational responsibilities, flexibility, and access to a wider range of academic programs and courses. This research examines parents’ perceptions of the impact of educational apps on students and discusses the challenges associated with these apps from the parental standpoint. Data was gathered from a sample of 100 parents whose children use learning apps. The majority of parents are dissatisfied with the online apps. They face many problems from infrastructural problems to the quality of the video. The findings suggest that learning apps are not as effective as expected and fail to meet parents’ expectations.
