Since these engineering structures usually work under dynamic operational and/or environmental loads like vibration and impact, bolt-loosening faults frequently generate and seriously affect their severity and smooth operation. Therefore, a plenty of frequency domain fault diagnosis methods utilising nonlinear vibration TFs have been proposed and applied.
