In civil and mechanical engineering, bolted beam-type structures are frequently subject to dynamic load-induced bolt-loosening faults in their service. Since bolt-loosening faults will seriously affect structural integrity and reliability, diagnosis of them as early as possible is very meaningful and valuable. To this objective, a large number of nonlinear vibration TF-based methods have been proposed and applied.
