In the present paper, we applied the VAR model to determine the exact effect of foreign direct investments (ICT spending) on macroeconomic performance in Morocco during the period 1999–2023. This research is happening within the environment of uprising methods of economic analysis and put in the line big data and artificial intelligence. Our paper gives a detailed picture of the role that ICT spending plays in the creation as well as boosting the overall economic performance. The facts depict that ICT investments catalyze innovation, raise productivity, and cut structural economic cost. Nevertheless, our findings should be doubted inéspite of these, they have limitations that concern not the availability and quality of the data. For the purposes of future study suggestions, it might be necessary to develop more relevant data and address national and sectoral nuances.
