Ecological Assessment of Artificial Landscapes as a Basis for Their Sustainability Management

The article presents materials on the study of the environmental sustainability of artificial landscapes, which depends on many natural conditions that limit the productivity of agrocenoses at the level of an agricultural enterprise. The conditions were assessed using the example of agricultural land use located in the forest-steppe zone of the Altai Krai (RF) with an area of more than 17.2 thousand hectares. The sustainability of agrolandscapes of the agricultural territory was assessed based on more than 20 indicators of the qualitative state of agricultural land. It was found that all conditions for manageability are divided into manageable, regulated, partially regulated and unregulated. The efficiency of using agrolandscapes is affected by physical and geographical, natural and climatic, geomorphological, soil conditions, natural and anthropogenic factors. For effective design of agro-, phyto-, and melioration measures in various agrolandscapes, they were differentiated from the point of view of the influence of limiting effects on biological objects. We compiled a complex of cartographic materials showing the differences in economic conditions at the local management level. The authors have carried out an ecological classification of agricultural lands, on the basis of which zoning and modeling of artificial landscapes were carried out. With the help of unique cartographic material, the spatial differentiation of agricultural landscapes by limiting effects is shown. The presented results are recommended for use in organizing new agricultural enterprises and optimizing existing ones.
