Active Noise Control (ANC) for impulsive noise is a significant challenge in acoustic signal processing. One promising approach is the Filtered-x logLMS (FxlogLMS) algorithm for updating control filter coefficients, as it effectively suppresses the large spikes of impulsive noise through logarithmic transformation. Despite its simple implementation, this algorithm faces limitations in noise control performance. In this paper, we propose a modified FxlogLMS algorithm designed to enhance the robustness against impulsive noise. The proposed method incorporates a normalized step-size and a smoothed robust error function. Experimental results demonstrate that the modified algorithm achieves stable convergence compared with the conventional FxlogLMS.

摘要
