Uveal melanoma (UM) is the most frequent primary intraocular malignancy in adults, with the choroid being the most commonly involved site. In adults, the most prevalent secondary intraocular malignancies are metastatic breast cancer in females and metastatic lung cancer in males. In children, retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common primary intraocular malignancy in children, while secondary intraocular malignancies often result from leukemia, mostly affecting the uveal tract.
