“Emancipate the mind and seek truth from facts” is the basic ideological line of the Party and the fundamental philosophical spirit of Deng Xiaoping Theory. It is with the guidance of this ideological line that we have returned to real life and reached where we are today. All the achievements since the reform and opening up have been fruitful results of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts. It can be affirmed that this will continue to be the case in the future. We cannot think that our minds have been sufficiently liberated and that the main issue is now enjoying its fruits. Emancipating the mind is not a task that can be completed once and for all. With the deepening of social reform, new problems will arise. We will still face the issue of emancipating the mind, an issue that will become increasingly difficult.
