Enhancing Ethical Decision-Making in ERP Systems: A Comparative Analysis Using Fuzzy MCDM and OWA Operators

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems play a pivotal role in streamlining business operations and facilitating decision-making processes across various organizational functions. However, ensuring ethical decision-making within ERP systems remains a critical challenge, particularly in complex and dynamic business environments. This research proposes a comparative analysis between Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (Fuzzy MCDM) and Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) operators to enhance ethical decision-making within ERP systems. Fuzzy MCDM techniques enable the consideration of multiple criteria and stakeholder perspectives, while OWA operators provide a robust framework for aggregating uncertain and imprecise information. By integrating these approaches, this study aims to develop a comprehensive framework for evaluating and enhancing ethical decision-making processes within ERP systems. Through a comparative analysis, this research seeks to identify the strengths and limitations of each approach and determine the most effective strategy for promoting ethical behavior and decision-making integrity within ERP systems. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the advancement of ethical decision-making practices in organizations utilizing ERP systems, ultimately fostering trust, accountability, and sustainability in business operations.
