The 2-dimension linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy variables (2-DLIFVs) are highly adaptable and effective instruments for simulating expert’s cognitive information in difficult decision-making scenarios while taking the validity of the assessment outcomes into account. By taking into account the feature of 2-DLIFs the present study is carried out to extend the Boneferroni mean in 2-DLIF environment. The accuracy functions, score, and operational laws for 2-DLIFBM are defined in this work. Furthermore, we establish several important features linked with 2-dimensional linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy weighted Boneferroni mean (2-DLIFWBM). A method is developed for multiple attribute group decision making using 2-DLIF information, utilizing the suggested aggregation operators. The established method’s validity is finally verified and demonstrated with an illustrative example.
