General Design Optimization of Satellite

As a multidisciplinary system engineering and a multidisciplinary optimization process, the general design process of satellite (Yao et al. in Prog Aerosp Sci 47:450–479, (2011) 1) shall fully take into account the mutual influence of all disciplines from the perspective of system before obtaining the optimal design (Guo in Study on the application of multidisciplinary design optimization methods in the general design of satellites National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, (2005) 2). The general design process of satellite depends on the creation of parametric models for each discipline, including design models, analysis models and optimization models. These models describe satellite characteristics and performance from different disciplines and at different levels of granularity, and constitute the digital prototype system of satellite products.
