The Bengawan Solo River, the longest river on Java, Indonesia, frequently causes severe flooding, particularly affecting Bojonegoro. This study assesses flood risk and economic damage in Bojonegoro’s urban areas using remote sensing and flood modelling techniques. A 2D Flood Model was created using Flood Modeller software by Jacobs, with rainfall-runoff analysis of six sub-catchments via the SCS-CN method to generate input for the model. Economic damage and flood-prone village mapping were conducted using ArcGIS Pro and R Programming. Results show that a 25-year return period flood will inundate urban areas, increasing economic damage from $6.988 million to $16.219 million compared to a 10-year flood. Several previously unaffected villages, including Sumbang and Sukorejo in Bojonegoro District and Ngampel and Tikusan in Kapas District, will experience significant flooding.

摘要
