The present study explored biogas production through anaerobic co-digestion of molasses-based distillery wastewater (DWW) and Napier grass (NG) under different thermal pretreatment (TP) temperatures. The results indicate that the addition of pretreatment significantly enhanced biogas production (Y), ranging from 18.8% to 45.2%. The ranking of Y for each reactor is as follows: R5 (2277.5 mL) > R4 > R3 > R1 > R2 (753 mL), with R2 exhibiting the lowest Y and R5 showing the highest. The results also showed that co-digestion without TP (R3) gave a more favorable amount of biogas produced than mono-digestion without TP (R1 and R2).
