The higher education organizations are much worried about the students’ employability. Prediction of career readiness of students is very important and need of an hour. In rapidly changing technology, machine learning is playing key role in shaping the future. There are variety of machine learning techniques that empower computers to learn from data and make forecasts or decisions. Industry requirements and job opportunities are corelated to employability skills available. There is gap between employability skills and fulfillment of industry requirements. There are different attributes related to employability skills of the students that impact on getting job opportunities. This paper aims to discuss the data analysis and employability prediction of students. This paper discusses the applications of machine learning algorithms in employability prediction.
