Pediatric urology presents unique challenges in diagnosing and managing urinary system conditions in children. Urodynamics, a specialized field, plays a crucial role in evaluating the dynamic functionality of the urinary tract. This chapter discusses the indications for urodynamic studies in children, including neurological and non-neurological disorders. It emphasizes the importance of patient preparation and outlines the procedure for conducting urodynamic tests. It also covers the interpretation of urodynamic parameters, such as bladder capacity, compliance, detrusor pressure, maximum flow rate, and voided volume. Specific clinical situations, such as neurogenic bladder, dysfunctional voiding, overactive bladder, nocturnal enuresis, and posterior urethral valves, are discussed in detail.
