Differential Diagnosis of Ocular Myasthenia Gravis
摘要
Thyroid-related eye disease is an autoimmune thyroid disease, characterized by self-limiting ocular muscle weakness, eyelid retraction, which can cause varying degrees of ocular muscle paralysis, and can also cause ptosis or orbicularis oculi muscle weakness, accompanied by exophthalmos or periorbital edema [1] . Orbital CT or MRI shows thickening of the extraocular muscles, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, positive anti-thyroglobulin antibody, anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody, or anti-thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibody. Thyroid eye disease and OMG can coexist.
