Metasurfaces are two-dimensional equivalents of metamaterials that take up less physical space than full three-dimensional metamaterial structures (Holloway et al. IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, Vol. 54, No. 2, pp. 10–35, 2012 [1]). Metasurfaces can manipulate both the magnitude and phase of EM waves freely by optimizing the structure of the unit cells.

摘要

Metasurfaces are two-dimensional equivalents of metamaterials that take up less physical space than full three-dimensional metamaterial structures (Holloway et al. IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, Vol. 54, No. 2, pp. 10–35, 2012 [1]). Metasurfaces can manipulate both the magnitude and phase of EM waves freely by optimizing the structure of the unit cells.
