The article addresses the implementation of innovative strategies to optimize cities using Big Data and predictive analytics, focusing on three critical areas: water sanitation, mobility, and security. The development of a comprehensive portfolio called PSMS_UIO_INTELIGENTE is presented, which includes specific projects aimed at addressing urban challenges in Quito, Ecuador. Through predictive analysis, a comprehensive understanding of the current needs and challenges in smart city management is achieved, providing a holistic view of the problems in these areas. The findings of this research have significant implications for improving urban management and raising the quality of life of citizens. Key recommendations are discussed to implement innovative solutions based on Big Data, as well as to strengthen collaboration between public and private entities to promote innovation in the field of smart cities.
