The paper aims to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) of leadership during crisis in the context of the healthcare industry to bring together dispersed literature together in one-fold to help academic practitioners get an overview of the research that has been carried out and healthcare leaders to use the findings to make critical decisions during the times of crisis. The Scopus database was used to perform the SLR, and this paper reviewed several key inputs from researchers around the world. Several styles of leadership emerged such as transformational, transactional, mental health focused, quantum, visible and ethical, to tackle diverse challenges that a crisis brought about. Such leadership styles also result in leaders being able to take good care of many stakeholders that they were responsible for, including themselves. This paper would prove to be informative and insightful to the readers and healthcare practitioners.
