Ultrasound is a valuable diagnostic tool for evaluating trauma patients in the emergency room. It can quickly identify any internal injuries or bleeding, such as ruptured organs, internal bleeding, or pneumothorax. Extended FAST (eFAST) exam and Focused cardiac ultrasound (FOCUS) are genera approach to the ultrasound evaluation of a trauma patient. The use of ultrasound in evaluating trauma patients in the emergency room can aid in rapid and accurate diagnosis, leading to timely interventions and improved patient outcomes.
