摘要
Intraoperative use of TEE offers real time dynamic monitoring tool of cardiac anatomy and physiology. It opens up a cardiac window with great spatial resolution. The clinical utility of TEE as a diagnostic and guide for therapeutic management in cardiac surgery is widely reported. Possessing the knowledge about the sequential assessment plays an important role in effective and optimal management of the patients.
