Bridging Educational Gaps in Rural Landscapes with a Hybrid Learning Application
摘要
This research introduces innovative solutions for students in rural areas who are facing problems due to low internet connectivity. To address this issue, an educational application is created which works in hybrid mode (offline and online). It mainly consists of two components, namely StudyHub and DataSync. DataSync allows students to provide input and download open educational resources that are stored on cloud platforms like GitHub automatically. DataSync only works whenever significant internet connectivity is available. The other component, StudyHub, acts as a storage for the application, storing all the downloaded content from DataSync and organizing the materials in a well-defined manner. Students can seamlessly access the content in StudyHub even when offline. This application works on different platforms and devices, providing a user-friendly experience for students and helping to bridge the gap in education in rural areas, ultimately reducing dropout rates.
