A primary driver for enhancing soil health in managed agricultural systems is to improve or maintain crop yields, ensuring production systems are resilient to changes, especially climate. The approaches presented in this publication are in recognition that management of soil organic matter and controlling inputs/losses of N are key to achieving this. Here we present a brief summary of the key messages from the preceding chapters, and we identify aspects not covered in this publication, that we recommend for future focus.
