In the text that follows, I analyze and evaluate the “Belt and Road Initiative” (BRI) of the P.R. of China (henceforth China). I look at the principles in which it is rooted and the aspirations of the Chinese leadership, at the concerns and polemics of the West. I present the Greek-Chinese initiative for the Ancient Civilizations Forum and the Greek-Chinese agreement on the BRI. Finally, I put to rest the fake news targeting Greece regarding its relations with China/the BRI.
