SDGs Desa 18 strives to maintain local wisdom, as well as carry out revitalization and mobilize all elements of institutions at the village level, because the involvement of all village elements, strong and functional institutions in the village in community life, will become a support for the diversity of life in a dynamic village, as well as a driver for the achievement of SDGs Desa. To achieve the goals by 2030, several indicators are used, including the sustainability of mutual aid and cooperation, participation of religious leaders in village development activities, protection by villagers of the vulnerable, the poor and orphans, preservation of village culture, and problem-solving based on a cultural approach.
