SDGs Desa strives to protect and improve the use of terrestrial ecosystems such as forests, swamps, land, and mountains. Also, promoting sustainable forest management and stopping deforestation is vital to stop the impact of climate change. For the fulfilment of human needs now and in the future, and for the protection of wildlife, the SDGs Desa sets a goal to protect natural resources and wildlife. To see the success of achieving this goal, indicators are used including village government policies related to biodiversity conservation efforts, the extent of green open land, and the number of endangered species.
