MAES Enhancing IoT Security with Lightweight AES and Innovative Performance Improvement
摘要
Technology is advancing rapidly, and in this security of IoT processes information has become much more important. This paper discusses the challenges associated with symmetric encryption algorithms such as AES in security for the Internet of Things, particularly regarding key distribution and computational processing for securing data. It introduces MAES (Modified AES), as a lightweight variant of AES specifically designed for IoT applications that include a unique one-dimensional s-box. The method entails establishing MAES and assessing its performance indicators such as throughput, delay, transmission time, and efficiency rates. The outcomes show significant improvements over prior MAE versions and are designed to implement encryption and decryption processes. This technique has S-box components, the prior combinational AES components, and the S-box delay compared to the prior work for IOT data security with improved efficiency. This paper’s findings indicate the MAES values compared to the previous result and present outcomes.
